DETROIT (AP) -- Ford Motor Co. said Thursday that its July U.S. sales rose 11 percent.

TOP SELLERS: Ford F-Series truck sales rose 23 percent to 60,449. Ford Escape SUV sales were up 4 percent to 22,343.
HOT MODELS: The recently redesigned Ford Fiesta subcompact was up 89 percent to 7,667, while sales of the police version of the Ford Explorer nearly doubled to 1,347.
